For me, gaming laptop is gorgeous! The style, performance, RGB lighting, nice keyboard, and more! I bought a Predator Triton 500 last year, but why I choose this laptop?

Actually the first gaming laptop I consider to buy is Alienware m15, but the price and the value is not better than other and if I want to buy the Alienware m15, I need to wait 1 month to get it. When the computer store informed me, I’m shocking, LOL, that’s funny. I live in Malaysia and someone tell me Dell are not aggressive enough in Malaysia, and the price is more expensive than Predator Triton 500, but the spec of Triton 500 is much better than the Alienware, so I choose this laptop.

My laptop o.o

First, the performance is great, I play Overwatch last year and it works well! But one thing I don’t like is the fan noise. When you play game a several hours, this laptop will turn super hot(85~90℃), so the fan noise is annoying, but it’s still work well.

Overall, this laptop is great! But how to choose your laptop?

  1. You need to know what you need

This mean that you need to know you use your laptop for what. If you haven’t playing game, and you just need a laptop to do your job, and you just need Word, Excel, Google, website something, you are absolutely no need a gaming laptop. Gaming laptop is a laptop that you can use it for high performance, like high CPU and GPU, and most of us are just need the CPU if we are not doing the 3D stuff, gaming, and more. Even editing video, you just need a high performance CPU to help you do well on your laptop.

2. How to choose your Screen

I’m sure you have seen a lot nice laptop and monitor screen like 4k, OLED, 144Hz, 300Hz, etc, but how to choose the screen that you need? Actually if you shoot 4k video, you can use 1080p screen to edit your video too. Higher hz screen is good when you gaming, for me, 144hz screen is enough for gaming, if you are playing the game that moving a lot(I mean you visual on screen), 300hz screen is a good choice, but remember 1 thing, you need to pay what you choose, OLED screen is expensive than normal screen. Overall, I recommend to buy a 144hz 1080p screen, it’s good and affordable.

I have upload some gaming video on my youtube (Lolzboyz)

3. Model of laptop

I suggest you buy the laptop that spec what you need and don’t think about you want to sell it and buy another new one(if you are rich, sure you can), because nowadays the technology is upgrade too fast, and the Moore principle, all of your electronic stuff value will decrease half of the price(the chip) every 8 months. So choose wisely.

If you are planning to buy a laptop or PC, pls think about what you use for, I’m now have no playing game anymore and the GPU is just idle, nothing to do and just wasted to put here.

Thanks for reading, and enjoy your life.
